To the delight of at least one cowboy, Jimmy has decided to take the advice of APIAS and bring up Southpaw Shooter Andrew Miller for his first major league start. Since Bondo will be on the DL for a bit letting his blister-on-pitching-hand heal, it looks like we’ll get at least 2 evenings of Miller Time. With the first coming tomorrow night against where-the-hell-did-that-come-from early season phenom Braden Looper (5-2 2.29) for the 16-22 defending Champs.
The plan as of now is to let him get his two starts, send him back down and put Bondo right back in the slot. However, we’re still holding out for making him the newly created Startoser (copyright TGC).
No word on extended PFP before the weekend series.
