2008 A’s Season Blog, The Exodus (3-3)

by

Back to five hundo.  That’s where te A’s stand after Saturday’s afternoon game.  Good old Dana Eveland does his best Dan Haren impersonation by throwing 7 solid with 7 stikeouts and only one run allowed.  Rookie Daric Barton went 3-5, Mark Ellis hit his second homerrun of the season, and most notably, Keith Foulke picked up his third hold of the season.

Kurt Suzuki was 1-4.  It seems like he’s reached in every game this year.  Just a solid contributor.  Jack Hannahan (thanks TGC!) was 1-2 with a walk and run scored.  Overall, another good day for the A’s.  They’ll be looking to break out the brooms at 4:05 EST tomorrow.  We’ll be in attendance.  And by attendance, we mean we’ll be watching on MLB.TV 1.2M feed until rec league basketball starts.  Until then, enjoy the games, enjoy some brews, and most importantly, if you know which horse is going to win the fourth race at Keeneland tomorrow, e-mail me pronto.
