So, erm, based on the many crashes and yells I heard from downstairs last night, and no contact today, I can honestly say, I have no idea where Eday is.

After hours of deliberation with myself, I too have come to the conclusion that 2SL is suggesting. While all of these other teams have to take time out of their practice schedule to play some silly ballgames against some no name teams, BCG will have two solid weeks to implement his system and take Liberty, Texas Southern, and Stony Brook by storm. This man is smarter than we could have ever imagined.

Remember the other day when Coury notched a double double and everyone was questioning Tubby’s evaluation of talent- like how could he NOT be playing this guy? Well, we were right- Tubby’s evaluation of talent sucks (or at least in his last couple years) because Crawford (and to some extent, Bradley) are cancers and I can’t wait for them to be removed. Crawford feels like an Azubuike- a guy with all the talent and no heart or fire, yet he isn’t built like a professional wrestler the way Azubuike is and looks like a dirty old man who’d bum smokes off you at the gas station. BCG will do good here at UK and I even think we may not even have to worry about what Mr. Pearl does for the rest of his tenure there after this year, but this year could be a rough one, but that’s ok. Pitino’s first year didn’t go so well, either.

heres the deal….BCG may win, he may not. either way last nights game is what grind it out and defend looks like when it goes wrong. the problem (for me) is i hate grind it out basketball and that could be BCG style.

No way close to that magnitude. Upsets like this happen all the time in March, and this wouldn’t have been news had there been anything else going on all week.
UM was a top-5 team, with the core of a team that finished 10-2 last year returning. UK has talent back from last year, but they weren’t very good, are playing under a new coach, and started Mark Coury.
I, too, believe that BCG isn’t at all upset with this loss. It appears that all they’ve been able to do is work on defense in practice. Their offense still appears to be stagnant, but when certain players (Legion, Crawford) are in the game, they appear to want to push the ball and score quickly. The biggest problem there is that both these guys play the same position, and can’t play together very much.
This team needs a true PG. That’s where they will struggle for the most part. Porter is really the only true PG on the team, and he just doesn’t have the talent to consistently play that position well at a high D-1 level. Bradley isn’t a cancer, he’s a leader, he’s just not a PG. He’s been played out of position since he got here because of need.
Bottom line is this; this is a great teaching tool. Unlike Michigan, this loss doesn’t at all take the Cats out of the National Title hunt. It will take them some time to rebound in the polls. But, UNC lost early to Santa Clara a couple years ago and recovered and won the title.
Also, this team definitely beats UT at least once this year for the same reason that UT football will beat UK football in two weeks, “Been doing it for years…”

I really wish UK had won this game. This is the type of victory Gardner Webb needs to build steam for a deep tournament run come March!
